Huh?Īnother thing: for a platformer AND a bullet hell, there's no built-in dash or a way to clear bullets with bullets that move WAY too fast and have like 0 telegraphing from the enemies. You tell yourself, "Oh I can jump to that platform." BZZZT nope! Gotta jump to THIS platform first by going BACKWARDS and THEN you can go forward. The game tells you not to destroy EVERY destroyable item because you might need them to get to an inaccessible area, so yeah, that's fine I guess? (Even though I think being able to destroy ♥♥♥♥ is fun and telling players not to destroy ♥♥♥♥ is kinda lame but I digress) Anyway, NORMAL platforming to get from one side to another just feels like ♥♥♥♥! It just feels like there isn't any love into the environmental design and it's just a victim to ♥♥♥♥♥♥ code to randomly generate a room. The jumping feels like ♥♥♥♥ because there are some platforms that you just can't jump to. Maybe this is a nitpick but the platforming is not that great. Maybe I'll give it a little more time and if I change my mind, I'll edit the review but for now my opinion is that it's kinda meh? And I love roguelikes and have played a good amount of them.
